Merchandise orders may additionally require shipping addresses, product selections and order details.

We use information to process donations and orders, provide confirmations, respond to enquiries, administer volunteer applications, send requested newsletters and maintain appropriate organisational and financial records.

3. Payments

Online card payments are processed using Stripe. Payment details entered into Stripe Checkout are handled by Stripe under its own privacy notice. Our website and backend may receive payment status, transaction identifiers and relevant donor or order information needed to administer the transaction.

4. Email communications

We use email delivery services, including Brevo, to send relevant transactional communications. Where you subscribe to a newsletter, you may request to unsubscribe from those newsletters. Donation and order confirmations are separate from promotional newsletters.

5. Service providers

Information may be processed by providers supporting our website, hosting, database, payments and email delivery. These include DreamHost, Render, Stripe and Brevo where their respective services are used. Their own privacy notices may also apply.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant service, recordkeeping, applicable legal obligations or legitimate operational needs. Retention depends on the category of information. We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
